DOUBLE ONTENDRE is an Independent Hip Hop Artist / Emcee from the West Suburbs of Chicago making his name known through his positive, conscious thought provoking lyrics. With staggering lyricism and uplifting vibrations, he aims to encourage others to strive towards their goals and achieve their dreams. Releasing his first successful single “Into The Vibe” in 2017 and fist mixtape titled “Pay Attention” in 2018, DOUBLE has gone on to perform over 300 shows and open mics in the Chicagoland area alone and has opened up for artists/bands such as The Wailers, Dave East, Ja Rule, Rittz, Dizzy Wright and G Herbo to name a few. DOUBLE cites J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Mac Miller and Ab-Soul as his primary influences.
Born on August 26, 1994 in Hinsdale, Illinois, DiAndré Maldonado has been through many layers in life which have contributed to his music career. DiAndré, more commonly know as DOUBLE ONTENDRE grew up in a family highly influenced by Hip Hop Culture and love for music. His father was a dancer and street performer in Chicago who’s love for Hip Hop transferred over to the young artist. Though he also has a love for dance, his passion for music pushed him to explore and flourish in the realm of the Emcee.
Releasing his first full length studio album in 2019 titled “DayDreamer”, DOUBLE continues to push his talent and abilities through releasing quality content, music videos and merchandise. Entering into 2024 you can dive into a multitude of projects, from his second studio album "Double Vision" (2020) to his joint collaboration tapes with the young super producer Masta Lee titled "Super Soul Bros." (2021) & "Super Soul Bros. 2" (2022). As DOUBLE continues his journey, he has released his third highly anticipated full length album "Liquid Love" (2022) highlighting the trials and tribulations of ones love life on the road to success and conquiring their dreams. With nothing but love and appreciation for his fans, he has continued to release virtuous and distinctive music highlighting the dedication and craftsmanship of his work with his 2023 mixtape “7” emphasizing and paying homage to his 7th project and the year of the 7.
